My name is Prof. Ofra Korat, and I am the Head of Early Childhood Program in the School of Education in Bar-Ilan University, Israel. My studies focus on early literacy development, family literacy and technology as support for literacy development.
I have known Dr. Gabi Liberman for about 25 years, since we studied together at the Tel-Aviv University's School of Education in the Ph.D. program.
Gabi was an impressive student. He demonstrated extensive knowledge in methodology and statistical analysis regarding different educational issues. Since then, Gabi has been helping me and my graduate students to plan and carry out statistical analyses in our different studies on language and literacy issues. Gabi is not only a good statistician who has high-quality ideas and performance in statistical analysis. He tries to learn and discusses the subjects, aspects and measures on which we work in order to gain a better understanding of the topic. Furthermore, Gabi constantly enriches his knowledge on new ways of statistical analysis and encourages me and my students to expand our knowledge and use this new learning. In conclusion, Gabi is a highly professional statistician and also a person with a good attitude and lots of patience who does his work with great support and a big smile. It is always a great pleasure to work with him.
